I had a lovely time during my Christmas stay! The hotel’s location is perfect—just a short walk to historical Kokura Castle and only ten minutes from the Riverwalk with tons of shops and arcades. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. Plus, the comfy bed really helped me catch up on sleep during the holidays!
There were some downsides. The A/C was a bit of a nightmare, as it was tough to cool down my room despite the cold outside. I had to leave the window open just to survive the night! the restaurant was being refurbished, so no breakfast or drinks were available, which was a bummer.

We had a fantastic stay at a quiet and conveniently located hotel. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and soft duvet. The staff were warm and helpful. We were able to leave our bags before check-in and after check-out. The hotel is close to Kokura Castle and Nishi Kokura Station, with a bus stop right outside and a convenient store across the street. Despite the language barrier, the staff tried their best to assist us. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel offers a very comfortable bed with a soft duvet and spacious rooms, especially for single travelers. Its location is tucked away, yet convenient with a bus stop right next to it, and a convenience store across the street. the staff is warm and very helpful.
The morning staff at check-in seemed disorganized, and guests may experience difficulty communicating with staff due to limited English proficiency. be prepared to pay an extra 200 yen tax, even if you have paid for your room through another platform.
